Our story began in 2003 when founder Joe Mitchell established the business under the name Rude Dog Design Limited. Coming from a computer gaming background, the original vision was to combine digital modelling expertise with architectural applications.
Almost immediately, demand for architectural visualisation work outpaced everything else. What started as an ambitious creative venture evolved into a specialist consultancy focused on presenting development proposals accurately and professionally.
Over time, the business became Roodog Design before eventually transitioning into Ocean AVR — the specialist planning visualisation consultancy it is today.
